Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting for a Cook Retail to prepare, cook and present high-quality meals for our restaurant and inpatient diets. You will support the food service and assist with events for Trust Hospitality, following HACCP and safety protocols.

You will work in a large-volume catering environment, maintain documentation, monitor wastage and ensure equipment and stock are secure, with opportunities to contribute to service improvements and sustainability

Qualifications

• Level 2 Food Safety Management.
• City & Guilds 706/1 or NVQ 3 equivalent.
• Health & Safety Certificate.
• Full COSHH awareness.
• Experience working in a large volume catering environment.
• Experience working with the general public.

Responsabilités

• Prepare, cook and present meals for restaurant and inpatient therapeutic diets.
• Assist with food service in the restaurant.
• Prepare foods for Trust Hospitality and other events.
• Complete HACCP documentation for storage, preparation and presentation.
• Observe safe, correct use and care of equipment and report defects.
• Complete documentation to manage and monitor production and wastage levels.
• Ensure kitchen equipment and stock are kept secure, reporting breaches.
• Promote sustainable products and services.
• Participate in reviews to improve quality and efficiency.
• Prepare meals including special diets in accordance with menus and recipes.

Formation
