Hospital Clinical Pharmacist – Band 7/8a – North London – Rheumatology – ASAP START

We are seeking a locum Clinical Pharmacist to work with our client in North London, at a large NHS trust. This role is suitable for both new and experienced locums.

Key points:

• Job Title: Hospital Clinical Pharmacist
• Banding: Band 7/8a
• Location: North London
• Duration: 6 Months
• Schedule: Monday – Friday | 9AM – 5:30PM
• Start Date: ASAP
• Pay Rate: £27 - £38 per hour
• Experience in Rheumatology is essential

Requirements and responsibilities:

• Participate in ward rounds, manage patient drug histories, and liaise with families, community pharmacists, and GPs.
• Provide clinical expertise on medicines, including doses, side-effects, and alternatives, supporting public health needs.
• Manage medicines reconciliation upon admission or discharge, coordinating with patients and pharmacists.
• Inpatient dispensary coverage and clinical screening.
