Job summary

Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Security & CCTV Control Room Officer to monitor CCTV and alarm systems, operate radios and maintain clear incident records across hospital sites. The role is based in Leighton Hospital's control room and involves general security duties as part of the Trust Security Team.

You will cover shifts at Victoria Infirmary (VIN) and support with opening and closing, responding to incidents, and coordinating with departments and emergency services

Qualifications

• Experience operating CCTV, access control, and alarm systems.
• Ability to remain calm and communicate clearly in emergencies.
• Understanding of data protection and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Monitor CCTV and alarm systems from the control room; respond promptly to incidents.
• Operate radio communications and maintain incident records.
• Provide security support and control room coverage across sites as required.
• Open/close duties and coordinate with Security Management Team during major incidents.
• Liaise with departments and external services to ensure safety across sites.
