Job summary

Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust is recruiting a Catering Supervisor for the Retail team to oversee the day-to-day operation of hospital restaurants and coffee shops. You will manage staff rosters, supervise food and drink preparation, and ensure high standards of service for patients, staff and visitors.

You will motivate colleagues, provide coaching, handle customer feedback, and ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and safety procedures in a busy NHS environment.

Qualifications

• Good numeracy and literacy skills (GCSE Maths/English).
• Experience in supervising staff and coordinating workloads.
• Experience delivering high levels of customer service in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff to deliver quality service according to schedules.
• Allocate duties, supervise food and drink preparation, and oversee till/cash handling.
• Monitor stock, deliveries and wastage; maintain safe, clean service areas.
• Respond to operational issues and customer feedback; train and guide colleagues.
