Job description

Hunter Gatherer AHP has two exciting locum opportunities with an NHS hospital service located in North London (exact locations to be confirmed). We are seeking several Locum ACT Band 4/5 Pharmacy Technicians, including community-experienced applicants, to join the inpatient dispensary team from June/July on ongoing contracts up to 6 months. The ACT qualification is required for this role.

While previous hospital experience is desirable, it is not mandatory, as training will be provided. Community pharmacy technicians are encouraged to apply. The role involves accuracy checking in the hospital dispensary, assisting with dispensing, and potentially some ward-based work, depending on your progress. Free on-site parking is available.

The working hours are either 8am - 4pm or 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday, with no on-call or weekend shifts. Part-time options (3-4 days per week) may be considered for suitable candidates.

Applicants must have pharmacy experience from either community or hospital sectors and be qualified ACTs. This role offers an excellent opportunity to transition into hospital pharmacy work and advance your career.
