We have an exciting opportunity with great pay and flexibility!
• Job Title: Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician (ACT)
• Location: Central London – NHS Hospital service
• Duration: 2 months initially (with a view to extend)
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am–6pm (30-minute break)
• Start Date: ASAP, May 2025
• End Date: Ongoing
• Rate of Pay: £18 – £24 per hour (via Umbrella, DOE)

What You’ll Be Doing:
Join our NHS client's team as an Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician (ACT) and support a busy NHS Outpatient Hospital Pharmacy. In this role, you will:
• Perform final accuracy checks on dispensed medications in line with GPhC standards
• Dispense and label medications in accordance with hospital protocols
• Support pharmacists and the wider dispensary team with workflow management
• Maintain stock levels and assist with ordering and inventory control
• Liaise with patients and clinical staff regarding medication queries
• Contribute to a safe, efficient, and high-quality outpatient dispensary service
Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
• A valid NVQ3 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent qualification
• Registration with the GPhC as a Pharmacy Technician
• Accredited Checking Technician (ACT) qualification
• Previous experience in a hospital or busy community setting
• Excellent attention to detail, organisational, and communication skills
• A proactive, team-oriented approach to service delivery
Working Hours & Contract Duration:
This is a full-time locum position, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.
The contract is initially for 2 months, with a strong possibility of extension depending on performance and service needs.
