Job summary

iGo Recruitment is seeking a Hospice Medical Director in Cumbria (LA12 7JP) on a full-time, permanent basis. The role is a senior clinical leadership position on the Senior Management Team, responsible for delivering clinical leadership across the organisation.

The successful candidate will hold Full GMC registration, have extensive palliative medicine experience, and demonstrate strong people management and governance skills to influence strategic decisions and improve end-of-life care across

Qualifications

• Full GMC registration with licence to practise.
• Significant experience within palliative medicine.
• Minimum six years' relevant experience at consultant level or five years as Specialty Doctor.
• Proven people management and leadership experience.
• Experience leading established teams and through change.
• Strong understanding of clinical governance and patient safety.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to influence strategic decisions and shape future services.
