Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced individual to join our team as an Enterprise Technician within the Cultivate team at Shaftesbury Millie College. This role focuses on outdoor enterprise areas, including Horticulture and Conservation, working closely to align curriculum areas with the natural environment.

Shaftesbury Millie College is a unique post-16-25 education setting in Dorset, supporting young people with diverse learning and physical disabilities. Situated on a 350-acre countryside site, the college offers curriculum linked to its natural surroundings, including creative crafts, catering, retail, conservation, horticulture, and animal care.

As a Conservation Technician, you will oversee Conservation Horticulture activities, working with Horticulture Technicians and the education team to maintain safe, clean, and accessible learning environments. These include our plant nursery, kitchen gardens, food forest, and various habitats on the nature reserve.
