Horticulture Teacher Job:

Reeson Education is currently seeking a Horticulture Teacher to work at one of our excellent client SEN schools located in the borough of Brent. The successful candidate will teach Horticulture to a Key Stage 5 ASC class, leading a team of 3-4 TAs and supporting a class of 6-8 students. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in an outstanding, special needs school with access to excellent resources and a highly supportive team. The role includes visiting a local farm twice a week as part of the lessons.

The School:

This outstanding special school in Brent supports approximately 300 students aged 4-19 and employs over 140 staff members. The school caters to pupils with high and low functioning autism, focusing on providing individualised, age-appropriate, and engaging learning experiences. The school boasts excellent facilities for staff.

The Ideal Applicant:

The Headteacher, highly regarded and successful, seeks a confident, driven, flexible individual eager to learn and take initiative. As this role requires an immediate start, a smooth transition is essential to minimise disruption for students. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with complex needs in either mainstream or special schools and be confident in supporting students with such needs.
