Job summary

MorePeople is seeking a Horticulture Sales & Purchasing Executive in Banstead. The role blends sales support, quotations, and purchasing for a diverse plant range sourced from UK and European growers.

You’ll build relationships with landscapers, garden centres, and designers while ensuring stock availability and timely orders. You’ll visit customers and suppliers across the UK and Europe, coordinate with nursery teams, and adapt quickly in a fast-paced horticultural environment.

Responsibilities

• Handling sales enquiries by phone and email
• Preparing quotations and following them through to order
• Building relationships with landscapers, designers, architects and garden centres
• Purchasing plants and stock from UK and European suppliers
• Monitoring stock levels and identifying purchasing opportunities
• Maintaining a strong understanding of current nursery stock and availability
• Preparing weekly availability lists for customers
• Visiting customers and suppliers across the UK and Europe
• Working closely with sales, purchasing and nursery teams to ensure orders are fulfilled efficiently
