Job summary

Baines Gardening Ltd is offering an Apprentice Labourer position to join our gardening and site maintenance team on commercial and private sites. You will assist with lawn cutting, hedge trimming, planting, and general maintenance under supervision.

Full training will be provided by the employer and KEITS, and you will work toward a Level 2 Horticulture and Landscape Operative Apprenticeship, with end-point assessments and safety qualifications along the way.

Qualifications

• Must not already have a Level 2+ in Horticulture and Landscape
• UK driving license required with evidence on application

Responsibilities

• Lawn cutting
• Hedge cutting
• Edge trimming
• Weeding
• Planting
• Laying bark
• Sweeping
• Bin emptying on some sites
• Sites left clean and tidy at end of day
• Pruning and shaping, plant maintenance
