Overview

As a Horticulture Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and success of our horticultural operations. You will be responsible for leading a team of horticultural staff, managing plant care, customer interactions and contributing to the overall success of the garden centre.

You will mentor a team of horticultural staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure the successful execution of daily tasks and projects, as well as oversee the health and maintenance of a wide variety of plants, ensuring they are properly watered, fertilised, and free from pests and diseases.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of horticultural staff and manage daily operations within the garden centre.
  • Oversee plant care, ensuring proper watering, feeding, and health maintenance of a wide variety of plants.
  • Maintain pest and disease control to protect plant health.
  • Engage with customers to provide information and support related to horticultural products and services.
  • Mentor and train staff, delivering guidance and support to ensure effective task execution.
Hours & Benefits
  • Hours: Sat/Mon/Wed/Thu 8.45am to 5.45pm. 32 total hours.
