Team Leader Plant Nursery in Pershore

Whether youve worked in horticulture before or are bringing your leadership skills from another industry,full training will be providedto help you succeed and grow in this role.

Position Overview

As aTeam Leader, youll guide a hardworking team in the day-to-day operations of a busy nursery. This role is ideal for someone with supervisory experience who enjoys physical work, being outdoors, and learning new skills.

Pay & Benefits

• £12.21 per hourduring the initial trial period (roughly 2-3 weeks)
• Increases to£13.18 per hourupon successful completion of the trial
• Full training providedno prior horticulture experience required if youve got strong leadership skills
• Opportunities for progression based on performance
• Work in a scenic, outdoor environment with a close-knit team
  
  

Schedule

• Days:Sunday to Thursday
• Shifts:7:00 AM 5:00 PM or 8:00 AM 6:00 PM (peak season hours)
  
  

Your Key Responsibilities

• Lead, support, and motivate a team of horticulture staff
• Organise and allocate daily tasks
• Ensure work is completed efficiently, safely, and to a high standard
• Oversee and enforce health and safety procedures
• Communicate progress and any issues to management
• Take part in hands-on nursery duties to support your team
  
  

What Were Looking For

• Previous team leader or supervisory experience (horticulture, agriculture, or warehouse/logistics backgrounds all welcome)
• Willingness to learn horticulturetraining will be provided
• Enjoys working outdoors in all weather
• Great communication and organisational skills
• Reliable, proactive, and confident leading a team
