Job summary

OCS is hiring a Horticultural Operative to join our grounds team on a key contract. You will be planting and maintaining plants and trees, operating gardening machinery, and contributing to a well-kept site in Crewe area.

Applicants should have a valid UK driving licence and be able to work both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role preferred.
• Ability to operate heavy machinery.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.

About The Role

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday 7am-4pm

OCS are excited to be recruiting for a Horticultural Operative to join one of our key contracts.

Duties will include

• Planting and upkeep of plants and trees.
• Maintaining of the grounds
• Use of gardening equipment and machinery
• Ability to work as part of a team and on your own.
• Driving license required
• All other duties as requested from Supervisor and management/Client.

To be considered for this role you must have

• Right to work in the UK
• Reliable
• To be able to work on your own, but also efficiently as past or a team
• Comfortable with using heavy machinery
• Experience within a similar role is preferred
