Job summary

Platinum Recruitment Consultancy is seeking a Horticultural Engineer in Stevenage to diagnose, service and repair advanced horticultural machinery. You will work in a well-supported environment, using modern diagnostic systems and carrying out preventative maintenance to keep equipment in peak condition.

The role suits individuals with a strong mechanical background, experience with servicing and repairs, and a proactive, customer-focused approach. A full driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical understanding and fault-finding ability.
• Experience with servicing, maintenance and repairs.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Full clean driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults using modern diagnostic systems and software
• Service, maintain and repair horticultural machinery and equipment
• Complete warranty, chargeable and internal repair work
• Carry out routine maintenance and inspections
• Safely operate machinery and use specialist tools
• Liaise professionally with customers and suppliers
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and within required timescales
