Job summary

Catering in Slough is seeking a horticultural assistant to support client sites with plant care and displays. The role offers guaranteed hours, training, and a company van after familiarisation.

You'll start early (4–5am) and finish by 2–3pm, with Saturdays during busy months. A PA1/PA6 spraying license and knowledge of seasonal plants are valued, along with safe handling of tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Early Start, 4/5am to 2/3pm
• Weekend Saturdays during busy summer months
• Plant care and maintaining displays to a high standard
• Knowledge of seasonal plants, pest/disease control, PA1/PA6 spraying license
• Watering systems installation and maintenance
• Safe use of ladders, stepladders and power tools
• Professional, courteous client-facing demeanor
• Company van provided after familiarisation for site visits
