  • Plant stock replenishment and merchandising to create fabulous plant displays.
  • Look after and care for our plants ensuring they are always healthy and looking great for our customers.
  • Advising our customers on suitable plants and products for their needs.
  • Till operation and serving customers.
  • Carry out cleaning and housekeeping tasks as needed.
  • Assisting customers with carrying purchases to their cars.
  • Collecting trolleys and shopping baskets.

Overview

We are looking for a Part Time Temporary Horticultural Assistant to join the team in our Holland Arms Garden Centre.

Pay and hours

Our competitive rates of pay range from £10 to £12.25 per hour dependent on age. The hours for this position are 20 per week over 3 days including regular weekend shifts so flexibility is a must. This is a temporary role until October 2025.

Responsibilities
  • Plant stock replenishment and merchandising to create fabulous plant displays
  • Look after and care for our plants ensuring they are always healthy and looking great for our customers
  • Advising our customers on suitable plants and products for their needs, taking every opportunity to WOW.
  • Till operation and serving customers
  • Carry out cleaning and housekeeping tasks as needed
  • Assisting customers with carrying purchases to their cars
  • Collecting trolleys and shopping baskets
