We provide support for customers, with two sites: Hope House (bed supported housing) and Doddsfield Rd (flats independent living with floating support).

Hope House – Support hours hours days per week based on a shift rota pattern – (sleep-ins staff are paid additional to salary advertised).
Doddsfield Rd – Floating support (during working hours).
Team - X Contract Manager, X Team Leader, Support Workers.
Staff work closely with Slough Community Mental Health Team (SCMHT). We also have a designated Occupational Therapist supporting staff. Customers attend Hope College, facilitated via Slough Mental Health Team, as part of their recovery process for independent living.
This is a great opportunity for any support worker to gain experience within the mental health field, based on a solid working relationship with SCMHT. We have implemented training from SCMHT to support staff with understanding mental health diagnoses and managing crises.

What you’ll do:

  • Undertake key-working responsibilities for a caseload assigned by the Team Leader/Manager.
  • Undertake initial and ongoing assessments of needs and risks, and agree support levels and actions.
  • Create support/action plans based on assessments and available resources.
  • Support customers with domestic tasks and practical assistance to ensure high-quality accommodation.
  • Develop and maintain links with key agencies and service providers in the community.
  • Empower customers to access services and benefits.
  • Maintain accurate records and undertake administrative duties.
  • Encourage tenants to pay rent and manage rent accounts effectively.
  • Proactively chase referrals to fill properties efficiently.
  • Adhere to policies and procedures.
  • Engage in learning and development activities.
  • Perform any other duties as reasonably assigned.
