Volunteer Psychologist Role at The Loss Foundation

The Loss Foundation is a registered charity that provides bereavement support for people whose loved ones have died of cancer. The charity is run by volunteer psychologists and mental health professionals, and hosts both online and in-person support groups and events across the country.

We are expanding our team and seeking compassionate, reliable, and conscientious volunteers with excellent communication skills and an interest in helping others.

Role Details:
  • Co-facilitating bereavement support groups and events for those affected by cancer-related loss.
  • Supervision from Clinical Psychologists.
  • Ongoing CPD and training opportunities.
  • Contributing to research and professional development.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Excellent organizational skills, initiative, flexibility, warmth, and enthusiasm.
  • Commitment of at least 2 years, facilitating 2-3 times per month (evenings).
  • Interest in bereavement support or helping others.
