The Loss Foundation is a registered charity specializing in providing bereavement support for people whose loved ones have died of cancer. The charity is run by volunteer psychologists and professionals working in mental health, as well as those from other fields.

We host online bereavement support groups and therapeutic events, and offer in-person support across the country through informal gatherings and walks.

Our team is expanding, and we are looking for compassionate, reliable, and conscientious volunteers with excellent communication skills and an interest in helping others.

Honorary psychologist roles involve co-facilitating bereavement support groups and events for individuals affected by cancer-related bereavement, under supervision from Clinical Psychologists, with ongoing CPD and training.

Ideal candidates will have excellent organizational skills, initiative, flexibility, warmth, and enthusiasm for learning about bereavement support. Volunteers will receive supervision, professional development, and opportunities to contribute to research. The charity provides excellent training and CPD opportunities, especially for those interested in pursuing careers in psychology. We welcome applications from individuals with a general interest in helping others.
