Job summary

Valeo Foods UK is hiring a Honey Process Operative for the Rowse Honey team in Wallingford. The role involves joining a fast-paced production environment and supporting the honey processing line across 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm shifts.

You will help maintain Health & Safety, GMP standards, load honey batches, follow SOPs, keep the area clean, wear protective clothing, and contribute to continuous improvement. Forklift licence is desirable, and good teamwork and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Forklift licence (desirable).
• Allergen awareness in line with HACCP risk assessments.
• Inter-personnel skills, liaising with internal and external teams.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health & safety is always maintained, GMP standards are upheld.
• Pick batches of honey from recipes issued and load into cabinets.
• Ensure honey is loaded into cabinets and pumped per pump plan.
• Follow SOPs, work instructions and escalation processes for materials and quality defects.
• Maintain hygiene and housekeeping standards maximizing GMP.
• Always wear correct protective clothing and equipment.
• Own and make recommendations for continuous improvement within the department.
• Carry out any other reasonable supervisory or managerial request.

We’re on the lookout for enthusiastic and reliable team players to join our Honey Process Team — the vital first step in ensuring every drop of Rowse Honey meets our high standards.

What You’ll Be Doing

As part of the Honey Process Team, you’ll:

• Ensure Health & safety is always maintained, Keep a high standard of GMP in all areas.


• Pick batches of honey from recipes issued and load them into the cabinets.


• Ensure that all the honey is loaded into the cabinets and pumped as per the pump plan.


• Follow the standard operating procedures, work instructions and escalation processes for raw materials and component parts with regards to quality defects.


• Maintain hygiene and housekeeping standards maximising GMP standards within all areas.


• Always wear correct protective clothing and equipment.


• Own and make recommendations for continuous improvement within the department.


• To carry out any other reasonable supervisory or managerial request.

Qualifications
