Job summary

4Recruitment Services is seeking a Housing Options Advisor for North Northamptonshire. Based in Kettering, you will conduct initial homelessness assessments, determine eligibility and priority need, and assess interim accommodation duties under Section 188.

The role focuses on preventing homelessness and offering practical housing advice. The ideal candidate has homelessness prevention experience within a Local Authority and a solid understanding of Housing Act 1996.

Qualifications

• Initial homelessness assessments for customers who are homeless or at risk.
• Assess eligibility, housing circumstances, and priority need.
• Determine interim accommodation duties under Section 188.
• Identify prevention and relief options to achieve positive housing outcomes.
• Maintain accurate case records and provide advice throughout assessment.
