An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Housing Inclusion Service for a committed, enthusiastic individual who wants to make a real difference to the lives of some of our most vulnerable residents experiencing complex needs and rough sleeping in the borough.
Reporting to the Rough Sleeping Coordinator, the successful applicant will work with a targeted group of clients with no recourse to public funds, often alongside alcohol or substance misuse dependency and other complex needs. As a Housing Engagement Worker, you will support these clients to access immigration advice, specialist treatment agencies, health providers, and relevant housing services.
You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to provide a holistic, targeted, and effective support program aimed at enabling people to secure and maintain settled accommodation.
