Homeless Housing Options Officer Required

Duration: 3 months +

Hours: 37 hrs

• Work with Part VII Housing Act 1996
• Make S184 decisions professionally
• Oversee the entire homeless process from initial contact to placement in suitable accommodation
• Assess homeless housing applications
• Understand the parameters of the Homeless Reduction Act 2017
• Support service users with housing and benefit applications
• Provide general advice on housing and entitled benefits
• Manage homeless prevention and relief efforts

Requirements:

• Full UK Driver's License
• DBS clearance
• Minimum of 1 year relevant experience
• Experience making S184 decisions
