Homecare & Reablement Assistant, Westside, Isle of Lewis
24.5 hours per week - Permanent Position
£18,972 to £19,687 per annum (inclusive of £1,893 Distant Islands Allowance p.a.)

The Home Care and Reablement Service is looking for care staff who are caring, compassionate, and reliable to join our team of skilled staff to support people living in our communities and enable them to continue living at home. The service aims to ensure a very good or excellent standard of care and support at all times, based on person-centred planning, compassion, dignity, respect, and trust. The post requires a qualification at SVQ 2 in Health and Social Care or an equivalent qualification to enable registration with the SSSC (Scottish Social Services Council).

New staff will be supported to gain the required qualification within a short timescale to allow career progression to the post of Home Care and Reablement Worker (£30,369 - £33,186 per annum, pro-rata), including the Distant Islands Allowance.

A full UK driving license is essential. The wearing and use of PPE is mandatory in this role.

This post is subject to membership of the PVG Scheme regarding regulated work with Adults.

Salary includes the Distant Islands Allowance.
