Job summary

HealthNet Homecare (UK) Ltd is seeking a Dispenser to join our busy Dispensary team. You will label and dispense prescriptions accurately, adhere to SOPs, and maintain patient confidentiality while working with a collaborative team to ensure safe, high-quality care for patients at home.

You will contribute to continuous improvement, handle communications from head office, and support other departments when needed.

Qualifications

• NVQ or equivalent in dispensing services, training provided if not already qualified
• Previous pharmacy experience preferred but not essential

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs and company policy to ensure patient safety
• Label and dispense prescriptions accurately and promptly
• Maintain confidentiality and data protection in all processes
• Collaborate with dispensing team for safe and efficient dispensary operations
• Read and act on communications from head office to support pharmacy and customers
• Maintain good housekeeping and readiness for audits or checks
• Support other departments when needed to balance workload
• Align daily work with HealthNet's strategic objectives
• Aim for high-quality work and adherence to HealthNet procedures
• Engage in mandatory training and professional development
