Job description

Location: SRS Care Solutions (Central) Ltd 1st Floor Suites, North Stand HAFC Stadium, Cadzow Avenue, Hamilton ML3 0FT

Salary: £25,000 per year

Contract Type: Permanent

Position Type: Full Time

Hours: 35 hours per week

SRS Care Solutions Central are seeking a Home Care Coordinator to support our staff and service users based in our Hamilton office. We value compassion, respect, wellbeing, dignity, and inclusivity.

The Home Care Coordinator will manage staff and client rotas using the Birdie scheduling system, update client files, and utilize our internal IT systems. This is an office-based role working 35 hours per week.

Job Responsibilities
  • Understand service users' needs through person-centred outcome planning.
  • Collaborate with the Service/Registered Manager and service users to match staff to individual needs.
  • Maintain detailed, person-centred support plans, risk assessments, and service user files.
  • Coordinate shift cover for Home Care Support Workers, including providing cover when necessary.
  • Participate in an out-of-hours rota.
  • Report schedule changes promptly and arrange replacements.
  • Update support plans and service user files as required.
  • Provide high-quality, person-centred personal care, including intimate procedures.
  • Attend relevant meetings as directed by management.
  • Participate in staff induction programs.
  • Ensure all files are current and compliant with company policy.

You will attend training to meet the standards set by the Health and Social Care Standards and SSSC Codes of Practice, and maintain your SSSC registration.

Qualifications such as S/NVQ Level 3 in Adult Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards it, along with a valid driving license, are advantageous.
