Conveyancing Fee Earner – Remote Holiday Cover – Residential Property

An exciting remote conveyancing opportunity has arisen for an experienced Conveyancing Fee Earner to provide holiday cover within a well-established residential property team.

This home-based position involves stepping in to manage the caseloads of conveyancers who are on annual leave, ensuring continuity in progressing residential transactions through to exchange and completion. This role is ideal for a conveyancer seeking to move away from handling their own permanent caseload while still working within a reputable conveyancing firm.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide legal support and advice to clients and introducers via phone and email, in line with company procedures, using a case management system
• Collaborate effectively with or without administrative support to deliver a positive client experience
• Title check both freehold and leasehold residential purchases as required
• Ensure consistent and smooth progress of residential property files during periods of staff absence

Requirements:

• Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or highly experienced conveyancer
• Demonstrated experience in managing a busy residential conveyancing caseload
• Comprehensive knowledge of UK conveyancing procedures and property law
• Proficient in using the Land Registry portal and standard search platforms
• Accreditation with professional bodies (e.g. the Law Society or CLC) is beneficial
• Fully remote working – work from home
