Job summary

Specsavers Home Visits Coventry is seeking a motivated Optical Assistant to join our domiciliary team, delivering eye care to patients at home. The role is 2–3 days per week, with no weekends or evenings, and hours 8.30 to 5.30pm, located in the Coventry region (Stratford Upon Avon preferred).

You’ll provide aftercare, fit and adjust eyewear, and carry out repairs where needed. Salary £26,142.75 per annum pro rata with a £220 monthly car allowance, plus holiday, pension and staff discounts.

Qualifications

• Experience as Optical Assistant in optical care or home visit settings.
• Must hold a full UK driving licence and be willing to travel between patient homes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver optical care to patients in their homes as part of the domiciliary team.
• Provide aftercare, fit and adjust eyewear, and carry out repairs when necessary.

As a Domiciliary Optical Assistant, you’ll ensure the delivery of a high quality professional service to patients in their own homes. You will provide the aftercare to our patients by visiting them to fit and adjust and carry out repairs for them when necessary.
