Job summary

Specsavers is seeking an experienced Optical Assistant for a domiciliary role across the Yorkshire and Leeds area. You’ll bring your customer care skills to home visits and support our care to patients who can’t visit stores.

This position offers a £2,000 welcome bonus and a car allowance of £2,400 per year, plus standard Specsavers employee benefits and professional development opportunities. Monday–Friday, 8.30am–5.30pm with some flexibility.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer care skills are essential.
• You must have previous optical experience.
• Hold a full UK driving license.

Responsibilities

• Deliver domiciliary optical care in homes and care settings.
• Support patients who cannot visit stores by visiting homes and care homes.
• Contribute to a customer‑centric, high‑quality service delivery.

As an Optical Assistant, you’ll use your passion for the Specsavers brand, products and services alongside your incredible customer service skills, to create an outstanding store environment for both our customers and our team.

You’ll be provided with a car allowance of £2,400 per annum, to allow you to bring our care and our services, directly to people’s homes.
