Job summary

Specsavers is seeking a Home Visits Optical Assistant to bring eye care directly to customers in their homes around Lisburn and the wider Belfast area. The role involves using a company pool car to reach patients who cannot visit stores, delivering clinical care and patient support in community settings.

The successful candidate will have previous optical experience and hold a full UK driving license, enabling visits across varying road conditions and locations.

• Must have a full UK driving license.

Responsibilities

• Drive a company pool car to customers' homes to deliver optical care.
• Provide eye care and support to patients in their own homes, supporting communities.
• Engage with customers to understand their needs and enable better day-to-day vision.
• Work a full-time schedule Monday–Friday, around 40 hours per week.

Role: Home Visits Optical Assistant

Ready to take your skills on the road? As a home visits optical assistant at Specsavers, you can do just that. You’ll be driving our services to the doorsteps of the nation, providing eye care to the people who aren’t able to come into our stores. Not only are you helping customer with their eye care need,essentially, you’ll be bringing smiles and clinical care to the heart of your community by enabling customers to see better which can enhanve their day to day lives.

Our business

Based in and around the Belfast and surrouding region, you’ll be providing care to vulnerable patients in their own homes.

Our team

We have a wonderful existing team of dedicated people from optical and administrative backgrounds, who are ready and waiting for you to meet them. Our offices are based in Lisburn, so ideally if you are located near to there, that would be ideal.

Our cars

You’ll be provided with a company pool car.

What we’re looking for?

• Previous optical experience
• Must have a full UK driving license
