Job summary

Specsavers Home Visits is seeking an experienced Optical Assistant to join our domiciliary team. You’ll visit patients in their own homes, delivering high-quality optical care and outstanding customer service while building meaningful relationships.

Role offers a Monday to Friday schedule (no weekends) from 8:30 to 17:30, with a starting salary of £26,853 per annum, a company car or £3,000 car allowance, and clear progression toward Dispensing Optician qualifications.

Qualifications

• Experience in optics and eye care services.
• Excellent customer service and relationship-building.
• Strong communicator and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Support patients through their eye care journey in patients' homes.
• Deliver excellent customer service and compassionate care.
• Assist with frame selection and dispensing (full training provided).
• Work closely with a small, supportive team.
• Travel across Stoke, Crewe, Stafford and surrounding areas.
