Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust is seeking a Community Staff Nurse to deliver compassionate care to patients in their own homes across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland. The post offers flexible working patterns and the opportunity to work within supportive Community Nursing Hubs, with supervision and preceptorship for newly qualified nurses.

Applicants must be Registered Adult Nurses with UK PIN and hold a full UK driving licence with access to a car.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence and access to a car for work purposes.
• Registered Adult Nurse with current registration.
• Newly qualified or student nurses qualifying in January 2027.
• Post available 30 to 37.5 hours per week.

Responsabilités

• Providing clinical care including management of wounds and leg ulcers, care of patients with a palliative diagnosis, symptom control and end-of-life care, bowel, continence and catheter care and administration of medication including IVs.
• Collaborating with the wider multidisciplinary team.
• Supporting patients to remain at home and avoid hospital admission.
• Promoting self-care and independence.
