A leading education supply agency is seeking a part-time Home Tutor to support students in non-traditional settings. The role involves creating personalized learning experiences for children facing various challenges, fostering engagement and a love for learning. Candidates must hold professional teaching qualifications or have extensive tutoring experience, particularly in English.
Location: Stockton-on-Tees
Salary: £25 - £30 per hour (dependent on experience and qualifications)
Start Date: September 2025
We are seeking experienced and resilient QTS teachers to join our team as tutors, supporting students who do not access traditional school settings. In this rewarding role, you will work closely with children and young adults in their homes, local libraries, or community centres, helping to re-engage them with education and fostering a love for learning.
Many pupils face challenges such as behavioural issues, high-functioning anxiety, or disabilities that necessitate home-based learning. Your primary goal will be to create engaging, personalized learning sessions tailored to each pupil’s developmental needs, building positive relationships with learners and their families.
