Job summary

Aureus School is seeking a Home School Link Worker to join our Pastoral Team in Didcot, Oxfordshire. You will act as the bridge between KS4 pupils’ families, school staff, therapists and other professionals to support high-quality education provision.

The role involves leading Early Help Assessments, attending Team Around the Family and EHCP Annual Reviews, and occasional home visits to support families and children. Experience with families and children is desirable.

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills required to act as a bridge between KS4 pupils’ families, the school, therapists and other professionals.
  • Experience in supporting families and working with children and young people is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Early Help Assessments (EHA) and attend Team Around the Family (TAF) meetings.
  • Support KS4 attendance and be proactive in seeking external support for families.
  • Carry out home visits as needed to support families and children.
  • Work as part of the Pastoral Team to deliver high-quality education provision.
