Job summary

Places for People is hiring a Labourer to carry out general repair tasks across domestic properties in the local area. You will work with joinery, tiling, painting and basic plumbing, travelling between jobs in the company van.

The role requires NVQ Level 2 or City & Guilds, a full UK driving licence, and being based in the PE postcode area. The position is permanent with a competitive benefits package including a company van, 35 days leave and pension.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or City and Guilds qualification.
• Full UK driving licence required.
• Based within the PE postcode area for the patch coverage.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general repair tasks across domestic properties both internally and externally.
• Support multiple trades including joinery, tiling, painting and basic plumbing.
• Work to specifications and ensure health and safety compliance.
• Collaborate with supervisors, schedulers and wider teams to meet deadlines.
• Record work activity and complete required documentation.
• Maintain high customer service standards and support team performance.
