Role: Children's Home Registered Manager

Location: Telford, Shropshire and Erdington (Birmingham)

Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum, plus achievable KPI related bonus structure

The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced OFSTED Registered Manager to lead 2 x solo placement homes located next to each other in Erdington. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management of the homes, ensuring compliance with OFSTED regulations and providing the highest standards of care to children and young people with needs relating to EBD or LD.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced OFSTED Registered Manager to lead our 3-bed home in Telford. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management of the home, ensuring compliance with OFSTED regulations and providing the highest standards of care.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Ensure compliance with OFSTED regulations and standards.
  • Develop and implement care plans tailored to the individual needs of each young person.
  • Lead, manage, and support a team of care staff, promoting professional development and best practices.
  • Manage budgets and resources effectively.
  • Liaise with external agencies, families, and stakeholders to ensure comprehensive care for young people.
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided, implementing improvements as necessary.

What We're Looking For:

  • NVQ Level 5 in Leadership & Management (or working towards)
  • Strong knowledge of Ofsted frameworks and quality standards
  • Confident, resilient leadership style with excellent people skills
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people
