Job description

Take full control of a brand-new care home and shape it exactly how you want. You'll have the freedom to build systems that work for you, hire the right people, and create a service that genuinely stands out in the area.

With full ownership of how things run, you'll also get the flexibility to balance your time between the home and your own life. You'll decide how to make things work best for you and the residents.

You'll be supported to advance your practice by carrying out projects as part of further education, helping you stay sharp and move forward in your career. You will also have the chance to make a lasting impact on the local community by providing better care in a better environment than what's currently available.

What you'll be doing

You'll lead the home, ensuring it delivers high-quality, safe care that meets all regulations. You'll also oversee the budget to keep the home profitable. This includes managing occupancy, marketing the home to the local community, and making sure the service stands out among competitors.

On the staffing side, you'll recruit suitable staff, manage their performance, and foster a cohesive team. You'll handle necessary paperwork, attend meetings, and collaborate with external agencies to ensure smooth operations.

What you'll need

  • A nursing qualification & current registration
  • No conditions on practice or negative reference history
