About the Opportunity of Home Manager:

An exciting new opportunity has arisen for an experienced and passionate Home Manager to lead a purpose-built nursing and residential care home opening soon in the Weymouth area. With significant investment planned (£15 million), this is a chance to shape a new service from the ground up and be part of a forward-thinking provider committed to delivering outstanding care.

The Role of Home Manager:

As Home Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring high-quality, person-centred care and strong commercial performance. You will be responsible for achieving regulatory compliance, meeting occupancy targets, and leading a dedicated multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities for the Home Manager include:

Provide inspirational leadership to staff, creating a culture of kindness, dignity, and excellence

Drive compliance with CQC and all statutory regulations, aiming for Outstanding standards

Recruit, train, and retain a skilled and motivated care team

Manage the home's budget and financial performance, ensuring effective cost control

Deliver and maintain high occupancy through strategic marketing and community engagement

Develop and sustain strong relationships with residents, families, staff, and external partners

Ensure timely and accurate completion of administrative and care-related documentation

Monitor and continuously improve the quality of care and operational performance

Proactively manage risks and uphold health and safety standards

What We're Looking For in aHome Manager:

Previous experience as a Registered or Residential Home Manager

Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and quality standards, with a proven record of compliance

Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills

Commercially aware, with experience of managing budgets and marketing care services

Passion for high-quality, person-centred care and continuous service improvement

NMC registration (preferred but not essential)
