iCare24 Group is seeking a Dual Home Registered Manager for their Muve Children's Service, responsible for leading therapeutic care in two homes. Job Description: Dual Home Registered Manager

Muve Children’s Service –Every Voice Matters, Every Step Heals

Reports to: CEO / Responsible Individual

Salary: Competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience, £60,000 - £80,000 per annum

Location: Dual home setting within Dudley and Sandwell

Purpose of the Role

As the Registered Manager across two therapeutic children’s homes, you will be responsible for leading a team to deliver trauma-informed, attachment-aware care for children with complex SEMH needs. You will drive outstanding outcomes for children through emotionally intelligent leadership, robust safeguarding, and operational excellence.

This role is central to achieving Muve’s mission: to walk alongside children in crisis with compassion, consistency, and courage, within homes where healing begins, voices are heard, and every child feels seen, valued, and empowered.

Key Responsibilities

1. Leadership and Service Development

  • Lead two Ofsted-registered children’s homes to achieve and maintain "Good" or "Outstanding" ratings
  • Cultivate an emotionally intelligent, trauma-aware team culture that prioritises therapeutic engagement
  • Embed a culture of reflection, learning and professional curiosity

2. Safeguarding and Compliance

  • Maintain the highest safeguarding standards in line with The Children’s Homes Regulations 2015 and Working Together to Safeguard Children
  • Ensure timely reporting, multi-agency liaison, and proactive risk management
  • Uphold regulatory and statutory duties with robust governance processes

3. Team Development and Supervision

  • Provide visionary leadership to Deputy Managers and teams across both homes
  • Coach, supervise, and appraise staff regularly, nurturing professional development
  • Champion a culture of compassion, accountability, and high expectations

4. Operational Excellence

  • Manage staffing, rota planning, and home budgets effectively
  • Maintain accurate records, care plans, and documentation in line with best practice
  • Ensure homes are welcoming, safe, and homely with high standards of care and presentation

5. Child-Centred Practice

  • Ensure children’s voices, rights and wishes are central to care planning and daily life
  • Work in partnership with external professionals, families and advocates
  • Deliver a bespoke, therapeutic experience for each child that celebrates their identity
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management in Residential Childcare (or willingness to achieve within 12 months)
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience within children’s residential care, with 2 years at a senior or management level
  • Proven track record of leading or contributing to an Ofsted “Good” or “Outstanding” provision
  • In-depth knowledge of trauma-informed and therapeutic practice frameworks (e.g., PACE, attachment theory, NMT)
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
