Responsibilities include clinical guidance, individual care plans, and maintaining safety standards. Ideal candidates will have a Registered Nurse background and NVQ Level 5 Leadership & Management. This role emphasizes kindness in care and offers various benefits including private healthcare and career development opportunities.
In your role as a Care Home Manager at HC-One, you’ll value kindness above all. It touches upon every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential and Specialist care homes. Every person who works here understands that our residents are people with their own stories. This role offers the opportunity to give back to those people by taking responsibility for the well-being of our Residents, including ensuring their physical, emotional and social needs are met.
You will lead, motivate and mentor your team and deliver clinical guidance and training to ensure the safe, smooth and efficient running of the care home. You will carry out assessments, develop, implement and evaluate individualised care plans for each Resident, monitor work areas to ensure safety and compliance with standards, policies and legislation, and promote residents’ independence, choice, dignity and respect while driving continuous improvement.
As a Care Home Manager at HC-One, you’ll value kindness above all. You will:
The position offers you a chance to lead through effective leadership and home management, ensuring the best people are on-site and delivering an empathic service. You’ll champion Resident wellbeing, establish a vision and development plan for the home, and carry out quality assurance monitoring to exceed regulatory standards, with kindness as a guiding principle.
We’re looking for a Care Home Manager with experience, ideally with a Registered Nurse background and current PIN on the NMC register. You’ll also have either a Registered Manager Award Level 4, or Leadership and Management in Care Level 4/5, or be willing to study for one. You should have leadership experience with multidisciplinary teams and risk assessments. Above all, communicate with residents and co-workers with consideration and kindness.
Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. You should recognise signs of abuse, harm or neglect and know what to do if concerns arise. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training appropriate to their role and to undertake additional training, including escalation if action is not taken.
