Home Manager - Specialist Service (LD and Mental Health)

Salary and Location

£50,000 - £55,000 per annum DOE

About the Role

Meridian Business Support is working with an established National Private Healthcare Provider to recruit a Home Manager for a small specialist nursing home in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

1. Provide leadership and promote a culture of kindness, compassion, and empathy among staff.
2. Recruit, train, motivate, and retain a skilled care team committed to person-centered care.
3. Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards, including CQC requirements, maintaining high standards of care.
4. Manage the home’s budget, ensuring financial targets are met and costs are controlled.
5. Develop and execute a strategic marketing plan to maintain occupancy and promote services.
6. Build positive relationships with residents, families, and stakeholders, addressing their needs and concerns.
7. Oversee administrative records and ensure timely completion of tasks.
8. Monitor and improve the home’s performance, implementing necessary changes.
9. Manage risks to ensure a safe environment for residents and staff.
