Highwood Care Home is a brand new, purpose-built facility nestled in the picturesque and historic port town of Bideford. Our luxury care home offers a warm and welcoming environment for up to 67 residents, providing Residential, Dementia, Nursing, and Respite care. With state-of-the-art facilities and beautifully designed spaces, we pride ourselves on creating a safe, comfortable, and enriching environment where residents can feel truly at home. Surrounded by stunning views and a vibrant local community, Highwood Care Home is committed to delivering the highest standard of care, tailored to meet the unique needs of every individual. As Home Manager, you will have full operational and commercial responsibility for Highwood Care Home. This is a service with incredible potential, and we’re looking for someone who can drive it forward – growing occupancy, maintaining exceptional staffing levels, and building trusted relationships with local commissioners.

Purpose-built and thoughtfully designed, the home has rapidly gained momentum, currently operating at 42% occupancy with 28 residents - many of whom are self-funders, reflecting the premium nature of the service.

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven experience managing large, private luxury care services
  • Ideally Nurse qualified, though strong clinical leadership experience without nursing registration will be considered.
