Registered Care Home Manager

Location: Charlton Down, Dorchester

Salary: £70,000 + Performance Bonus (up to 10%) & Benefits

About the Home Manager Role:

As a Registered Care Home Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the home's operations, ensuring residents receive outstanding person-centred care in a safe, supportive, and welcoming environment. Your leadership will inspire a team of dedicated professionals, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and fostering a culture of excellence.

Key Responsibilities for the Home Manager:

1. Lead and manage the care home team, providing support, training, and motivation to deliver exceptional care.
2. Ensure the home operates in line with CQC regulations and company policies, maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
3. Drive occupancy levels through effective engagement with stakeholders and innovative marketing strategies.
4. Oversee financial performance, budget management, and cost control while maintaining excellent service delivery.
5. Collaborate with hospitality and maintenance teams to ensure the home provides a high standard of living, including quality dining, cleanliness, and overall environment.
6. Build and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, and the wider community.

Requirements for the Home Manager:

1. Minimum of three years' experience as a Registered Care Home Manager.
2. Valid NMC PIN or experience in managing nursing homes.
3. Strong background in dementia care and residential care.
4. Proven leadership skills with experience in staff management, compliance, and financial planning.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
6. A proactive and compassionate approach, ensuring the highest standards of care.
