Job Title: Fibre Home Installation Engineer

Location: Burnley, UK

Salary: £30,000 - £36,000 per annum + Target-Driven Incentives + Van for Work Use

Job Description:

As a Fibre Home Installation Engineer at VEA Telecoms, you will play a crucial role in connecting customers to high-speed fibre broadband. You'll ensure installations are carried out efficiently, to the highest standards, and with a customer-focused approach, as you will be working inside clients' homes.

Responsibilities:

  • Installing and configuring fibre optic broadband systems in residential properties.
  • Testing and troubleshooting to guarantee optimal system performance.
  • Educating customers on system usage and addressing any queries.
  • Adhering to safety and quality standards during installations.
  • Maintaining accurate records of completed work and reporting issues promptly.


Requirements:

  • Certifications: SA001, SA002, S008, S007, SA051C, SA020, Confined Spaces, and NSWRA/SLG are essential.
  • Criminal Record Check - will be required.
  • Previous experience in fibre installation or telecommunications is preferred.
  • Strong technical aptitude and familiarity with fibre optic tools and systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Outstanding communication and customer service abilities.
  • Full UK driving license.
