Job summary

B&Q is recruiting a Customer Advisor at Ashton-Under-Lyne for a part-time, 3-month fixed-term contract. You’ll be the friendly face helping customers with their home improvement needs and guiding them through product selections.

Shifts run Monday to Sunday, 1.30pm - 10.00pm, with a UK notional hourly rate of £13.10. You’ll also help with stock, displays and basic training in paint-mixing and timber cutting. Great customer service is essential.

Qualifications

• Friendly and outgoing, eager to learn and helpful to others.
• Willing to expand skills by using new technology and ways of working.
• Team player with flexibility to work on a rota including weekends, evenings and bank holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert customer advice and service to shoppers.
• Assist with stock management and setting up displays to keep the store looking inviting.
• Support paint-mixing and timber-cutting training and apply great customer service as the main goal.
