A local government authority in Ipswich is seeking a dedicated Reablement Home First Support Worker. This role involves supporting individuals to live independently in their homes. No experience is required as comprehensive training and support will be provided. The ideal candidate will be compassionate and self-motivated, with a commitment to promoting wellbeing. Suffolk County Council's Home First service provides short term reablement care and support to help people stay independent within their own home.
As a self-motivated, caring, and passionate person who shares the same care and dedication as we do, you will join our teams across the county as a Reablement Home First Support Worker.
No experience is required.
To help you be successful in the role, you will receive a thorough induction, in-depth training and full support from your team to grow your skills and development.
You will also have the option to complete a fully funded level 2 qualification in Health and Social Care to advance your career in Health and Social Care.
Travelling requirements for your role
We positively encourage the use of technology to communicate and engage, but in this role, you will need to travel, so you must either hold a full and current driving licence and have access to personal transport or meet the mobility requirements of the role through other reasonable and suitable means.
