As a Home Delivery Driver, your focus will be on delivering customers' shopping on time and in excellent condition, providing outstanding service. This includes greeting customers with a smile, professionally handling queries, and informing them of any delays. It's a hands-on role that makes you the face of Sainsbury’s, and you'll take pride in doing the right thing for customers. You should be comfortable lifting and moving online containers up to 15kg. When not on the road, you'll assist in-store.

You’ll need to be fully licensed to drive. We provide additional coaching for driving our delivery vehicles. For insurance purposes, applicants must be over 18, hold a full UK/EU driving licence for at least 12 months, with no more than 6 points. An online driving risk assessment will be part of the interview process, followed by a driving assessment upon joining.

Note: Many roles are temporary over the festive period, but permanent opportunities may also be available. Please check the contract type and hours before applying to ensure the role suits you.
