Qualifications

Working in our stores:

As one of our Home Delivery Drivers, you’ll be the special ingredient that delivers everything our online customers shopped at Sainsbury’s for.

• You must be over 18 and have held a full UK/EU driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 6 points on it
• You will complete an online driving risk assessment as part of your interview and, if successful, there’ll be a driving assessment when you join us
• You must have Right to Work eligibility in the UK

Additional details:

Must be fully flexible with times and days. Must also be able to work weekends.

What you’ll be doing:

• Driving a 3.5 tonne van to deliver groceries to our customers' doorsteps, on-time and in great condition
• Completing checks to ensure the van is organised, clean, roadworthy, and delivery cases are secure before driving safely in various locations and conditions
• Serving our customers brilliantly, supporting with questions and substitutions, and keeping them informed of delays
• Building knowledge about our products, services, and promotions to provide recommendations
• Helping across the store when not delivering
