To provide a Care at Home/Falls Response Service to vulnerable people in the community.

The post holder will work as a double up team within the Associated Services Team, which is part of Fife Health and Social Care Partnership.

The role will include work to a home care rota at night assisting vulnerable service users within their own homes, also responding to Community Alarm/Telecare activations and assisting vulnerable service users within their own homes, with care at home tasks working with Health and Social Care Partnership colleagues and colleagues within partnership agencies.

The Person

  • You are required to have a current driving licence, (you will drive Council vehicles).
  • SVQ 2 in Health and Social care or willing to work towards.
  • Previous Care at Home experience or awareness of the National Care Standards.
  • Night link Home Carer should have a positive, caring attitude andthe ability to work on their own as well as part of a team.
  • You should be able to undertake physical tasks.

Before confirming your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.

As this role requires SSSC registration, the successful applicant will have three months to apply for registration.

If appointed, you must submit your application within 3 months so you're registered within the required six months. More details are included in the role profile.
